Support that grows with them.
Behavioral, emotional, and developmental support for kids and teens — with families involved every step of the way.
Beacon Bridge works with children, adolescents, and their families to address behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs. From individual therapy and family sessions to behavioral coaching and group skills work, we build a plan around what your young person actually needs.
We know parents are already carrying a lot. We keep intake simple, verify your Medicaid or insurance benefits for you, and stay in close communication so you're never guessing about what's happening in sessions.

Frequently asked.
Quick answers to the questions we hear most. Still unsure? Call (833) 496-0445 — we're glad to talk it through.
What ages do you work with?
We serve children, adolescents, and young adults — roughly ages 5 through 21 — with services matched to developmental stage. Younger kids get more play- and family-based work; teens get more individual therapy.
How involved are parents and caregivers?
Very. Parents/guardians are part of intake, planning, and regular check-ins. For teens, we balance family involvement with the confidentiality teens need to open up.
Do I need consent from both parents?
For most services in NC, one legal guardian's consent is enough. Custody or court orders can change that — bring any relevant paperwork to intake and we'll walk you through it.
Can you coordinate with schools, IEPs, or pediatricians?
Yes. With your signed release, we coordinate with schools, IEP/504 teams, pediatricians, and other providers so your child's care is joined up instead of siloed.
Can sessions be virtual so they fit after school?
Yes. We offer secure telehealth for kids and teens, plus in-person visits in Durham and Greensboro. Evening and after-school slots fill fast — reach out early.
What if my child is in crisis?
If there's immediate safety risk, call or text 988 or go to the nearest ER. During business hours, call us at (833) 496-0445 and we'll help figure out next steps.
